Dr. Shahid Hafeez

Dr Shahid Hafeez is a senior practicing consultant cardiologist at COR Cardiology.

Dr Hafeez has vast experience in clinical cardiology and cardiac imaging working in Australia as a clinical cardiologist for over ten years.

Dr Hafeez graduated in Pakistan and after successful completion of practice under peer review at the Queen Elizabeth and Lyell McEwin hospitals, he was awarded FRACP-Cardiology in January 2013. Dr Hafeez holds indefinitely valid certification of the Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduate USA and has dual fellowship (FCPS) in medicine (2001) and cardiology (2006) from the College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan. After successfully completing structural training programs and exit examinations, he was a consultant cardiologist at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Ashford Hospital, Calvary Wakefield, and Calvary District Hospital. He did Echocardiography Fellowship at the Princess Alexandra hospital Brisbane and is a Level A CTCA Specialist. 

Dr Hafeez also holds the title of clinical lecturer in the discipline of Medicine at the University of Adelaide. He has gained experience in performing and interpreting all the modalities of echocardiography including transthoracic, transoesophageal, stress and contrast echocardiography. Dr Hafeez has particular interest in the clinical, diagnostic, and preventive aspects of cardiology.
